Dr. Wang earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, graduating with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. His postgraduate training includes a General Surgery Internship, Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, all completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Wang holds board certifications from the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He also has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and maintains certification through rigorous Maintenance of Certification programs. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Wang has a love for the outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking, hiking, and spending time with his family up north.
